What we collect, why, and how we keep it safe — in plain words.

Parserio is a Chrome extension for recruiters, made by the Parserio team (also known as Sourcery), based in Poland. This page explains what data we handle and why. Questions? Write to sourcery.team@gmail.com — a real person answers.
TL;DR
• CVs and candidate data never touch our servers. Parserio reads CVs in your browser and sends candidates straight to the place you choose — BambooHR, Workable or Google Sheets.
• Your API keys stay in your browser.
• We know very little about you: your account email, your plan, and how the extension is used, so we can keep it working and make it better.
• We never sell your data. No ads, no data brokers. Never have, never will.
Candidate data
When you open a CV, Parserio reads it on your computer and shows what it found. Nothing leaves your browser until you click “Add Candidate” — then the details and the CV go directly to the destination you picked. We don’t receive or keep copies.
You (or your company) decide which candidates to add and where, so you are responsible for the candidate data and for having the right to process it.
Sourcing
Sourcing highlights your keywords on the page you’re looking at. It reads the page inside your browser — the page content isn’t sent to us or anyone else. Your keyword groups are saved in your browser too.
What we collect about you
• Account: your email and account ID. If you sign in with Google, also your name and profile picture.
• Subscription: your plan and payment history. Card details are handled by Stripe — we never see them.
• Usage statistics: which features you use and how often (for example, how many CVs you parsed), plus the extension version and browser type. This shows us what to improve.
• Error reports: technical details when something breaks. Emails, phone numbers and other personal details are removed before a report is sent.
• Forms: what you write to us in feedback, bug-report or uninstall forms.
Usage statistics and error reports are linked to your account (ID and email), so we can help you if something goes wrong. They never include CVs, candidate data or the pages you visit, and we don’t record your screen.
Google sign-in and Google Sheets
• Google sign-in is used only to sign you in.
• Google Sheets: Parserio can only access the spreadsheet it creates for you — nothing else in your Google Drive. Your Google access stays in your browser. When it is created or renewed, it briefly passes through our server to finish the connection with Google; we don’t save it.
• We use Google data only for these features. We don’t read it, sell it, share it with advertisers or use it to train AI.
Parserio’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Why we use your data (legal bases)
• To provide Parserio — your account, sign-in and subscription (to fulfil our agreement with you).
• To keep it working and improve it — usage statistics and error reports (our legitimate interest in a reliable product).
• To reply to you — support and forms (legitimate interest).
• To follow the law — for example, keeping invoices.

Some of them process data outside the EU. When they do, it is protected by the EU’s Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
• Account data — while you use Parserio. Ask us to delete your account and it’s gone within 30 days.
• Usage statistics and error reports — only as long as they’re useful, and deleted on request.
• Invoices — as long as tax law requires.
Things saved in your browser (API keys, keyword groups, settings) stay there until you remove the extension.
Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct, delete or export your data, or to stop using it. Just email sourcery.team@gmail.com — we reply within 30 days. You can also complain to a data protection authority; in Poland that’s the UODO (Personal Data Protection Office).
Security
We use encrypted connections and keep your keys and candidate data off our servers. No system is 100% secure, but we take care of what we have.
Kids
Parserio is a work tool and isn’t meant for anyone under 16.
If this policy changes
We’ll update the date at the top. For important changes, we’ll let you know in the extension or by email. If Parserio ever gets a new owner, your data stays protected by this policy — we’ll tell you first and ask for your consent where needed.
